  Not a good pediatrician's office at all! They would not respond to a request for a medication refill over the phone. When I called to schedule an appointment to get the refill, they could not get me in for three weeks. Because my son was out of his medication long before that time, I was forced to take him up to urgent care walk in hours to get the new script. We were turned away the first time because we got there three minutes after the scheduled end time of walk in hours. The next day I had to take my son out of school an hour early to make sure we were there 30 minutes before walk ins stopped. We arrived 30 minutes after walk ins began but were turned away because they were supposedly "full" for their allowed number of walk in appointments. We were sent to the other office. When we arrived at the second office, still well before hours ended, we were again told we could not be seen. Absolutely pathetic!

  My little boy has been coming here since birth. He's almost 11. It has gone completely downhill. Dr. Ananth amazing but the staff is awful. They are rude and a bit uncaring at the front desk. I have felt this way for sometime but tolerated it. But worse, the outgoing message on their machine said they accept walk- in appointments. I "walked in" and was told they were seeing no more walk-ins. It was still in time frame. It was only four on the list. I did tell them I need to communicate that better on their outgoing message. Wasted trip with a sick child. I did call the independence office. Luckily they had a walk-in appointments until 1030. It was still very early so I knew I could make it. But to be sure, I called and was told I could come in. I had an hour left in the walk in time window. I get there and I'm told they cannot see my son. I am beyond frustrated. I have a sick child and keep getting the runaround from this franchise. After 11 years I am done. I will find a new pediatrician for my son. Again, I love Dr. Ananth as though she were family, but I need a healthcare partner that will at least be professional when my son needs help. I will email Dr. Ananth so she knows it was not her. But stay far away from this place. Routine visits are not quite as important but when your child is sick you need a professional system.

  Haven't had any issues with this office. They always answer the phone in a timely manner, they are personable, organized, and willing to answer any questions I might have. I highly recommend this practice!
